Este sábado 20 de agosto de 2011 a las 20h, o sea cerca del Iftar, momento en que se rompe el ayuno del Ramadán, la OTAN comenzó la «Operación Sirena».

Las sirenas son altoparlantes de las mezquitas que han sido utilizados para llamar a Al-Qaeda a iniciar la revuelta. Células durmientes de los rebeldes han entrado inmediatamente en acción. Se trataba de pequeños grupos muy móviles que han multiplicado los ataques. Los combates nocturnos dejaron 350 muertos y 3 000 heridos.

La situación se estabilizó durante la jornada del domingo.

Un barco de la OTAN atracó en la costa de Trípoli y comenzó a desembarcar armamento pesado y yihadistas miembros de Al-Qaeda, encabezados por oficiales de la alianza atlántica.

Los combates se reanudaron durante la noche y se han hecho particularmente violentos. Los drones y los aviones piloteados de la OTAN lanzan bombas por todas partes. Los helicópteros ametrallan a la gente en las calles para abrir el camino a los yihadistas.

Un convoy de vehículos oficiales que transportaba personalidades de primera línea ha sido atacado al atardecer. Sus miembros se refugiaron en el hotel Rixos, donde se alberga la prensa extranjera. La OTAN no se ha atrevido a bombardearlo para no matar a sus propios periodistas. El hotel, donde me encuentro en este mismo momento, está siendo atacado con intenso fuego.

A las 23h30, el ministerio de Salud ha confirmado que los hospitales están saturados. Al caer la tarde, ya se contaban 1 300 muertos más y 5 000 heridos.

La misión de la OTAN, aprobada por el Consejo de Seguridad de la ONU, era garantizar la protección de los civiles. En realidad, Francia y el Reino Unido acaban de reanudar las masacres coloniales.

 

Nota

01h00: Khamis Kadhafi acaba de traer personalmente armas para la defensa del hotel. Se fue después de entregar las armas. Los combates se han intensificado alrededor del hotel.

On Saturday, 20 August 2011, at 8:00 PM, that is to say just after the Iftar, the breaking of the Ramadan fast, the Atlantic Alliance launched "Operation Mermaid Dawn."

The fighting started on Sunday night, reaching a rare degree of violence. NATO drones and aircraft kept bombarding in all directions. NATO helicopters strafed civilians in the streets with machine guns to clear the way for the jihadis.

In the evening, a motorcade of official cars carrying top government figures came under attack. It pulled into the Rixos Hotel where the foreign press is based. NATO did not dare to bomb the hotel to avoid killing its own journalists. Nevertheless the hotel, which is where I am staying, is now under heavy fire.

At 11:30 PM, the Ministry of Health could only announce that the hospitals were full to overflowing. By early evening there were 1300 additional dead and 5000 wounded.

NATO has been entrusted by the Security Council to protect civilians. In reality, France and the UK have just re-started their colonial massacres.

Monday, 1:00 AM: Khamis Qaddafi came to the Rixos Hotel personally to deliver weapons for the defense of the hotel. He then left. There is now heavy fighting all around the hotel.
