O Bakaxikhekh! Add to the potion pinch of red earth, nine drops natron, for drops balsam of Olibanum and one drop blood (from thy right hand). Combine the whole with a like measure of fat of the gosling and place the vessel upon the fire. When all is rendered well and the dark vapours begin to rise, make the the Elder Sign and remove from the flames. When the unguent has cooled place it within an urn of the finest alabaster, which thou shalt keep in some secret place (known only to thyself) until thou shalt have need of it. |
