Does anyone notice that the global warming crowd never talks about the Sun and its activity? Not one mention of it came out of the news coverage of Copenhagen.
Perhaps the leaders of the world don’t want to be accused of returning to some form of sun worship so they avoid the topic altogether.
Or maybe after the elite has been
totally frustrated with their failed swine flu and global warming
scares they will think of something creative like launching all the
worlds nuclear warheads at the sun to punish it for its laziness and
decreased activity.
Listen to this interview with Monkton if
you want to hear an intelligent well informed dignitary talking
about the current situation.
In Calgary Canada the Global Warming was unbearable!
They beat a weather record set more than 100 years ago, dipping to minus 32.4°C. At least twelve other low temperature records were broken, the coldest being Sunday at minus 41.6°C. The record low temperature for Calgary was minus 32.2°C set in 1893. Looks like global warming arrived in Canada early this year.
You have to appreciate how new
cold records get broken every time there is a climate
conference.
Philadelphia got more snow than they usually get in an entire winter and Dallas had its first white Christmas in more than 80 years.
Imagine how President Obama must have felt having to take a motorcade back to the White House instead of his helicopter after brokering a deal where a $30-billion three-year package of financing by richer nations at Copenhagen is intended to help poorer nations build seawalls.
For the press it’s still steady as she goes with the global warming, which so many people have swallowed hook, line and sinker.
But I think this winter will change many peoples’ minds. Imagine if these storms keep up all winter what the landscape is going to look like. We could have a mini ice age on our hands before we know it. Thoughts about global warming die hard like a religion; and we get the kinds of reactions from people you would normally find from fanatics when challenging the issue.
They know they are right but you know the antelope don’t care!
The weather in southeast Wyoming has been so snowy and cold this fall that antelope are leaving their home on the range and moving into town.[1]
And the National Snow and Ice Data
Center released its summary of summer sea-ice conditions in the
Arctic in October, noting a substantial expansion of ice - of the
extent of “second-year ice” - floes thick enough to have persisted
through two summers of melting. According to the center, second-year
ice this summer made up 32 percent of the total ice cover on the
Arctic Ocean compared with 21 percent in 2007 and 9 percent in 2008.[2]
They blamed the error on satellite problems and sensor drift. And the ice melt during the Antarctic summer (October-January) of 2008-2009 was the lowest ever recorded in the 30 years of satellite history. Such was the finding reported last week by Marco Tedesco and Andrew Monaghan in the journal Geophysical Research.
Of course none of this stops Al Gore.
New computer modeling suggests the Arctic Ocean may be nearly ice-free in the summertime by as early as 2014, Al Gore said Monday December 14th at the U.N. climate conference.
Look, if the computer models say it’s
going to happen, it really does not matter what is happening does
it?
So much for the poles but what is happening in all the glaciers around the world, aren’t they melting?
Some of them still might be but we are getting reports:
Until two springs ago, pilot Paul Claus would land a Supercub on a gravel bar in Icy Bay to give people an up-close look at a calving glacier. This year he can’t land there because a glacier has rumbled over the gravel bar.
The main glaciers in Icy Bay crept forward up to one-third of a mile sometime between August 2006 and June 2007.
A warming climate is a great thing to believe in when it is actually getting colder. And it seems that some people feel it’s a great thing to let the people of the world bleed over it in terms of the proposed carbon taxes.
Dr. Mathais Rath wrote that,
The world’s richest and most power
people and their institutions know how to milk the public and they
hope to pull the rug out from under the public yet again with global
warming scares and carbon taxes.
These things come and go and no amount
of CO2 lessening will ever prevent that.
