The idea of the existence of parallel
worlds has become popular.
The point of view, however, about kind or
quality of the parallel worlds is different:
1) The metaphysical assumption
of astral parallel worlds postulated as a physical
explanation for the existence of astral worlds.
2) The physical assumption of physical parallel worlds with
no relation to astral worlds or to metaphysic.
In this following article the
speculations relate to the second aspect, the physical parallel
worlds, which have nothing to do with astral worlds (which latter
exist as well as I believe, but are of other quality).
At some few occasions I had the impression of visiting a past or a
future time and very seldom I had the impression of having visited a
parallel world. My experiences were too fragmentary to let me come
to any conclusion. Some additional hints I heard from friends.
Robert Monroe related in his first book (Journeys Out of the Body)
about a series of interesting experiences, which were quite
different than the usual journeys he did. He was of opinion, that
these journeys led him to an earth like world, where he incorporated
a kind of alter ego, a person who lived there and became obsessed by
him. The "physical laws" of this world were different in some
aspects.
Some words to the theory of parallel worlds: at the moment of the
big bang, when space exploded into the three dimensions in form of
an expanding globe, time did not develop linear, as usually
considered, but like space time as well expanded in the form of a
globe. All parallel worlds of the presence are situated at the
surface of the expanding time globe. If this is so, however, an
indefinite number of parallel worlds should exist. Properly these
worlds are not demarcated from each other, but are merging into each
other without exact borders, becoming more and more different with
proceeding time.
This above mentioned hypothesis excludes the wide spread opinion,
that a parallel world is created at very important events of
political or natural origin. I think, that the time globe expands by
physical laws and is independent from such anthropocentric aspects.
As there are anomalies in gravitation, there might be such ones in
the time sphere and thus in the connection between parallel worlds.
In discussions I was told of local anomalies in Vienna. As it seems
these anomalies were disturbances caused by paranormal influences,
whose source were persons with uncontrolled mediumistic abilities,
additional to the local anomaly. (These persons seemed to be in an
other world from one moment to the other and seconds later they were
back in their used surrounding.)
I have collected several German written articles of such events:
Dislokationen von Raum und Zeit. These events are no OBEs and
have occurred in daytime.

Laura Jean Daniels tells that she walked home at a city street in
the night by full moon shine. At once she was in the country in
front of a small house with a straw made roof and an old fashioned
man and woman before.
Daniels just wanted to enter the house, when
she was back again in the city street.

We wanted to pick some flowers and went to a fallow of
land. My wife was busy at a cherry tree and I went some
steps further and took a look at the surrounding - but
this has changed dramatically. No buildings were to be
seen and all was void, making orientation difficult.
Alone the sunshine gave some impressions of reality.
I
made a mark where I was standing, in order to be able to
find the exit later on. I went into this desert and when
I was sure that I had walked as far as the flats, which
had to be there in the real world, I turned and went
back - having seen nothing more than the void dessert.
Arriving at the mark with a next step he was in the real
world.
His wife was very agitated and afraid, because he
suddenly was vanished and did not respond, when she was
calling him.
Franz Grillparzer Tagebücher

When Grillparzer was in the sanatorium of Bad
Tatzmannsdorf, he liked to have a daily walk in a nearby
park. Once he entered an until unknown part, with old
trees and as lovely that he could not stop to admire
this beautiful surrounding. But there was no bench to
rest and he left this part.
The next days he searched
for this lovely part of the park, but this part no more
was existing.

Miss A.H. together with her husband were searching
mushrooms. When she stepped over a root she suddenly was
in a wild wood, without the song of the birds as it was
before. She did not find her way back, and all hear
screaming for her husband did not help, though he should
have been near by.
After 2 hours she suddenly was back
again in the former forest. |
The following letter is a most interesting indication for parallel
worlds, it's a fascinating letter.

A letter from Garth:
I am fairly well experienced in the area of astral
projection and lucid dreaming. It seemed to come
naturally. I never had a teacher.
I am quite familiar with the other realms you discuss. I
may have different names for them, because of my
development which was void of outside influence.
However, I haven't seen this realm/place/dimension
discussed. At times I am positive I have travelled to an
earth with an alternate history. Some are fairly
familiar, some have historical paths which diverged long
ago. One involved a world where the US never went to war
against Germany in WWII, only Japan. Another was very
divergent. Native Americans, the Navajo, had developed
an extensive trade network empire and "discovered"
Europe during the 11 century.
Their governmental
structure reminded me of the Habsburgs Holland. Anyhow,
They, the Navajos, of this world were the economic
technological superpower. Many worlds I can't even
place. Some are void of life because of war or disease.
Most aren't as technologically advanced as our own. Some
are much more so.
When I get details of important historical events in
these alter - earths I try to look them up here. In many
cases I can find something very similar, but of little
import here. Supposedly because nothing important grew
out of the event. But I distinctly recall never having
read this info previous to these dreams.
Have you heard of this? Have you heard of people
Astrally projecting into historically different earths?
I would really like to know.
Ironic you mention Monroe (English title: Journeys Out
of the Body). I read his book at a young age and I think
I learned a lot. Like I said before, I think my natural
ability to
lucid dream helps me astrally project. I am
able to put myself into a very altered-state of
consciousness which seems quite helpful.
I'm currently trying to find others who do the same
inter world travel I (think) I have done. No luck so
far.

I wanted to point out a few things: First of all the
Indians I describe as Navajo shared physical and
cultural traits with other Indians local to the area.
Namely the Hopi and the Pueblo (I've been researching).
The height and braids are definitely right for the
Navajo, but the ones I saw or at least remember wore
white face paint and had red circles painted on each
cheek. This is more Hopi (still looking up any meaning -
the style of painting usually meant something).
The Pueblos themselves were
the city builders. I just wanted to point this out
before some expert on Indians found errors. Now in our
history neither of these groups worked together. The
Navajo were the enemies of the Hopi and maybe Pueblo IN
OUR HISTORY. This is one thing that ended their nascent
trade empire.
Now its possible that in another timeline these groups
were amicable and even formed into one tribe. This would
explain the sharing of traits and would prevent the
strife from occurring that ruined them in our timeline.
They may have just stuck with the name Navajo. The name
Navajo comes from the Apache and basically means enemy
so all these integrated groups would be enemy.
I think if we assume that the three groups: Hopi, Pueblo
and Navajo combined/intermarried as shown by traits of
all three represented in the individuals seen we are
O.K.. Unlike our world where the three tribes still
fight. A united group would have been the only thing
strong enough to forge a strong trade empire.
Lastly the WW II alter history may have similarities
with some stories. I don't know. I was told there is a
story (name unknown) that sounds similar.
