This is the introduction to my primer volume of a trilogy of cancer books and it serves to familiarize you with my approach to treating cancer and what you will find in my other books on the subject.
I wrote and published,
...which will
incorporate writings from my book Soft Medicine.
Now that’s just the survivors. Imagine if they counted the people who did not survive.
Regardless, 37 percent
of those still living reported that their
PTSD symptoms persisted or
even got worse after a 5-year period. What this means, and what
oncologists ignore, is that emotions matter in medicine and they
certainly matter when it comes to treating cancer patients.
Cancer survivors with PTSD live their cancer in nightmares!
Cancer is a nightmare and as Bonnie Green, a Georgetown University trauma expert, said,
When a person receives a cancer diagnosis they are in for the shock of their life.
It is good to be
pre-warned that the chances of this happening is high and getting
higher each year as stress and nutritional deficiencies build up and
as our toxic load of heavy metals, digested radioactive particles,
radiation exposure and chemical toxicities increase.
From that point on we have to deal with a battle
against the oncologists, and the medical wind is like a hurricane
dead-set against anything natural that we might want to do to
alleviate our anxiety and depression that contributes to the
devastation of our immune system.
Cancer is not just a
disease of the body but also of the mind, spirit and emotion and
needs to be treated on each of these levels to get the best results.
HealthDay reported that
a study, conducted by Duke Cancer Institute researchers involving
566 patients with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, found that
PTSD symptoms were greater in
people who had lower incomes, who were diagnosed when their cancer
had already entered into stage 2 or higher, who underwent
chemotherapy, or who had an aggressive form of lymphoma.
Having a group of doctors who can only think of ramming down our throats poisonous chemo or radiation therapy does not lead to good relationships with cancer patients.
His experiments and those of other leading-edge scientists have examined in great detail the processes by which cells receive information.
The implications of this research radically change our understanding of life. We have learned that genes and DNA do not control our biology but instead DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the energetic messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts.
Dr. Lipton’s profoundly
hopeful synthesis of the latest and best research in cell biology
and quantum physics is being hailed as a major breakthrough showing
that our bodies can be changed as we retrain our thinking.
The
power of
consciousness - what is that? In fact, what is pure consciousness?
This is an important question that I answer in my work.
This is why, on a physical level, my approach makes use of concentrated nutritional medicines instead of pharmaceuticals that only increase the toxic loads our bodies have to deal with. Our nutritional deficiencies are severely exacerbated by buildups of radiation, chemicals and heavy metals that combine to destroy healthy cells.
Add stress and deep
emotional upset and cancer eventually comes knocking at our door.
